Skillfully handcrafted from exotic demolition hardwoods, this chest is built from scratch, using reclaimed wood that has been toughened by nature’s elements, giving it a new leaf in life. With its unique finish, no two chests look the same. Each drawer has inset tops to make it easy to open, while its unique width-long legs elevate the entire chest to give it a floating effect.
This collection employs old-world, hand-crafted techniques using organic solid reclaimed South American hardwoods (demolitian hardwood) along with an array of materials such as white oak, black walnut, brass and blackened steel. The collage of patinas from the various species of wood to the steel panels and hardware lend the collection a sense of history and timelessness.
